Alloy C276 Nickel Plate - UNS N10276


Hastelloy Alloy® C276 is an age-hardenable nickel-cobalt chromium-molybdenum alloy designed specifically to combine good age strength properties with excellent fabrication characteristics in the annealed condition.  The high molybdenum content provides resistance to localized corrosion. Low carbon minimizes carbide precipitation during welding.  Alloy C276 exhibits excellent intermediate temperature tensile ductility, and is not normally subject to strain age cracking problems common for other gamma prime strengthened alloys. Alloy C276 is typically used for applications up to about 1650°F (900°C).

This versatile alloy maintains very good corrosion resistance in a broad variety of chemcial process and aqueous environments. C276 material is rather uniquely resistant to wet chloride gas and chlorine solutions.  Hastelloy C276 properties enable excellent resistance to oxidizing salts.
